Leidos Training Specialist I in SPRINGFIELD, Virginia
Leidos currently has an opening for a Training Specialist to work in our Springfield VA office.
This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping provide enhanced analytic capabilities in order to optimize detection, collection, processing, characterization, exploitation, and dissemination of Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and DoD mission partners. In this mission we are responsible for the development, implementation, and extension of today’s evolving National System for Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) (NSG) architecture to the forward edge delivering GEOINT data and services in a myriad of forms in support of forward deployed warfighters.
The candidate will be responsible for conducting analysis, design and development of training materials, including documentation, and instructional materials. Experience with instructor-led (platform) training development and/or e-learning (distance learning) or computer-based training development.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• The candidate will work directly with customers and team members for evaluation of operational requirements and developing technical solutions.
• The candidate is required to interface verbally and in writing with technical and non-technical staff as well as the customer.
• Produce Training Plans for the customer.
• Conduct training classes for the customer.
• Evaluates effectiveness of training, evaluates training results, and makes recommendations for improvements as necessary.
• Available for OCONUS travel.
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
Bachelor’s degree with five years of experience
Candidate must possess an active DOD Top Secret level security clearance, and be eligible to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI level clearance.
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
Experience teaching and demonstrating GEOINT analytical products to military audiences.
Understanding of Intel Community procedures, tradecraft, and methodology.
Program evaluation experience, including qualitative and quantitative analysis and data tracking.
Master’s degree in adult learning, education, or online learning.
