We have an exciting opportunity for a “hands on” data driven program management leader that enjoys the challenge of working with a highly collaborative team with responsibilities that are pivotal to the Nordstrom customer experience. The team operates and enhances an ecosystem of highly scalable business critical APIs and Services that offers a 360-degree view of the customer. This provides Nordstrom with the ability to provide a personalized experience online or instore across all our different brands.

As a Technical Program Manager II, you will work closely with multiple teams – engineering, product management, finance, marketing, operations and services to define roadmaps, requirements, and ultimately measure results for various customer initiatives. The ideal candidate must possess a high degree of collaborative skills, technical acumen, strong data driven critical thinking skills and the ability to communicate effectively on many levels.

A day in the life...

  • Manages a one or more services or projects, the intake of new requests, their roadmaps and works closely with product management to deliver business results

  • Collaborate, influence, communicate and help deliver results with decisions that impact the strategic direction for customer data and engagement at Nordstrom

You own this if you…

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required

  • Experienced with utilizing RESTful web services and cloud services

  • Able to perform analysis using query languages like SQL, Splunk, Elastic Search etc.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Understanding of project and program management with 1-3 yrs. of experience in a fast-paced environment taking a product through its complete lifecycle using Agile methodologies

  • Excellent cross-group collaborator and ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and key partners for the program
