Summary of Position with General Responsibilities:

As part of the Contracts Group this position is responsible for creating and maintaining accurate facility record account information in the order entry system.

Essential job Functions:

  • Maintaining customer account information and ensuring that all computer system cross references pertaining to customer accounts are accurately maintained for division to corporate systems.

  • Verifying the validity of new accounts and any account maintenance being performed.

  • Archiving and retrieval of SOX required account verification documentation.

  • Effectively communicating with Corporate Credit, the Contracts Department, Customer Service and Distributors regarding any customer account or distributor inquiries.

  • Effectively communicating with the District Manager, Territory Managers and Director of Sales regarding account set up and maintenance.

  • Researching and correcting errors in the customer account databases.

  • Effectively communicating with the Sales Tracing and Rebates team to research causes for price/rebate discrepancies and follow up by telephone/email with distributors and contracts team to problem resolution.

  • Assist in accurate and timely generation of the monthly sales tracing and rebate claim processing, which is used to identify distributor sales and calculate salesperson commissions and distributor rebates, when the need arises. This includes researching, calculating, entering and reviewing sales tracing and rebate information for BAS sales history.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years of finance clerical experience or equivalency.

  • Preferred qualifications include:

  • Two (2) year business or related degree.

Preferred skills:

  • Audit, Banking, AP/AR, Loan processing experience as it relates to transaction details

  • Good Excel skills for reporting

  • Analytical thinking skills

  • Detail oriented

The incumbent must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the duties and responsibilities.

Additional Desirable Qualifications Skills and Knowledge:

  • Possesses excellent communication skills and organizational ability.

  • Possess analytical skills required to maintain customer accounts, identify abnormalities and make recommendations to management regarding customer accounts.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in use of personal computers, particularly Excel and Word.

  • Possesses knowledge of calculating and reconciling financial data.
