and opportunities, we have a requirement for a

Senior Civil Engineer , with a particular experience in drainage

design for transport and other major projects, to join our growing Adelaide

office.

of exciting local and interstate projects currently being delivered from our

city fringe office.

Responsibilities

Organise, coordinate, plan and lead delivery

of design and documentation with a particular focus on stormwater drainage

including hydrological and hydraulic analysis, flood analysis, WSUD and

stormwater pump stations;

Work on the tender design and detailed design

phases for exciting major projects both in South Australia and interstate;

Undertake stormwater drainage design reviews

and complete stormwater investigations studies and reporting;

Knowledge and experience working on State

authority roads projects is highly regarded;

Knowledge within one or more other disciplines

such as pavements or road design would also be desirable;

Lead delivery of technically sound and clearly

documented project design deliverables, including reports, drawings and specifications;

Work under the instruction of the project

manager / design manager and lead the design team to complete engineering

tasks as required;

Complete work to a high standard of quality,

technical integrity and within required timeframes;

Work within the broader engineering team on

large and complex assignments which involve many disciplines, site

constraints, structures, services and geotechnical issues;

Mentor and train less experienced technical

staff.

Requirements

Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or

equivalent;

7 years’

experience;

Significant knowledge and demonstrated

experience in technical design and modelling;

Experience and knowledge with 12D design and DRAINS

is desirable;

Excellent written and verbal communication

skills;

Familiarity with relevant standards and design

guidelines;

CPEng would be preferred, otherwise a

demonstrated willingness to achieve CPEng and demonstrated progress

towards this (or equivalent).
