Kforce Marketing Communication Strategist in Madison, Wisconsin

Kforce is seeking a Marketing Communication Strategist for a local client working on their Enterprise Marketing & Communication Team in Madison, Wisconsin (WI).Overview:This person will develop and execute communications plans to support change management impacts on employees through the Enterprise Core Transformation Program. Execution of communication deliverables may include email, web content, social media, business meetings and employee events. Additionally, you will communicate to the entire organization any customer benefits, enterprise efficiencies, or educate employees about innovative ways of operating as an organization that influence change adoption in other areas of the company indirectly or not yet impacted by the Enterprise Core Transformation program activities. Communications will be delivered leveraging internal newsletters, Live 45 events, team meetings or forums, and other communication channels where appropriate.The candidate will work with Communications Strategists and Business Leaders to identify storylines that are key to our strategic objectives as a company. You will interview employees from across the enterprise to create compelling, informative and emotional content that can be used internally with employees and externally to the marketplace. Content will take many forms including written stories, video, infographics, posters, social media posts, email and web. The ideal candidate will be an excellent writer, editor and creative person who is comfortable interviewing people at all levels in the company.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English; or an equivalent in work experience

  • 5-8 years of related experience; Experience in in both agency and corporate settings preferred

  • A background in journalism, reporting, or creative writing is preferred

  • Familiarity with financial institutions, financial advisors or broker dealers preferred

  • Strong interpersonal skills, strong communicator internally and externally

  • Able to apply critical thinking skills to self-direct own work in support of broader goals

  • Ability to collaborate with others to find creative approaches and align to industry best practices

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information

  • A make it happen mentality; someone who is strategic, creative and has the ability to get things done

  • Compelling content creation: ability to uncover creative angles and craft interesting stories

  • Ability to influence; will interact with people at all levels of the organization and need to be able to build trust and mutual respect with key stakeholders

  • Practices accountability: say what you do/mean and mean what you say/do

  • Compelling and proficient writer with strong grasp of AP style

  • Experienced writer for a variety of traditional and digital communication channels

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products is required
