Job Responsibilities: This position will conduct and assist in the development of new test methods, validation and improvement of existing methods for clinical use. With guidance from the Director of Toxicology & Biochemical Genetics, the incumbent will ensure adherence to quality control, quality assurance and record keeping standards; provide technical expertise; perform testing; and conduct staff training as needed for newly developed testing protocols. Job Requirements: - Master's Degree and 3-5 years' experience OR PhD and 1-2 years' experience o Technical education and other analytical chemistry laboratory work could be considered as work related experience - Ability to conduct complex statistical analysis, spreadsheets and database management - Experience with method validations and analytical chemistry - Familiarity and experience with tandem mass spectrometry - Experience with quality control and quality assurance measures - Professionalism and the ability to work independently is expected
