VMware Corporate FP&A Manager in Heredia, Costa Rica

Responsibilities:

  • Lead quarterly bookings forecast and reporting cycles and drive reporting analytics/insights

  • Lead the annual and second half bookings planning cycles from a CFP&A point of view

  • Own the governance processes related to bookings hierarchy and allocations

  • Educate business partners on matters impacting bookings planning and reporting (i.e. SKU set-up, allocations, hierarchy changes, etc.)

  • Participate and/or lead in the progression of bookings planning and reporting from a strategy and systems perspective

  • Present insights and solutions to on demand questions from different business partners

  • Participate and/or lead in annual bookings LRP process, providing hands on guidance to Sr Analysts dedicated to LRP

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong analytical skills and capability to communicate valuable insights from data

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to effectively business partner

  • Ability to effectively lead and develop a team, including delegation and review of work product

  • Initiative to anticipate and solve problems

  • Strong planning and organizational skills

  • Knowledge of the MS office package. Advanced Excel skills are necessary

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business, Finance or related fields, Masters or MBA degrees are a plus

  • 7-9 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis roles with a strong track record of career progression

  • Experience working in cross functional teams

  • Experience leading and developing a team

  • Motivated individual with a desire to learn and to grow in a fast-moving environment

  • Quick learner and interested in developing his or her career in a fast pace and challenging environment
