The Federal Work Study Museum Technology Assistant will work with the Museum's Director of Museum Technology performing a variety of basic technology tasks.
Assist others with the use of computers and software applications
Identify, sort, label, and store technology-related hardware
Test technology-related hardware and record results
Develop, deliver, and maintain educational materials about office technology
Assist with audio-visual setup and operation
Other duties as assigned
$8.25/hour; Part-time position with variable hours, potentially up to 20 hours per week.
Must have Federal Work Study award.
Ability to use a PC to enter data or search the internet
Some familiarity with technology-related hardware (computers, input devices, cables)
Ability to climb ladders up to 8 feet
Ability to move 50 pounds
Ability to utilize Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access) preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills preferred
