The Boeing Company Senior Manufacturing Planner - Electrical in Everett, Washington
The Boeing Commercial Airplanes Production Engineering Organization is seeking Electrical Manufacturing Planners to support the Electrical Technical Center: NWS (New Wiring System) in Everett, WA.
Responsibilities include the following:
Primary responsibilities include working closely with other Electrical Designers/Engineers, Manufacturing Engineering(ME) Designers/Engineers and the Information Technology (IT) community to define, design and test a new tool suite replacing WIRS, MAPPER as well as a number of other Electrical Design software applications in use by all BCA Models and BDS Derivatives.
Team members work on a cross functional team (Systems, Wire Design, Wire Installation, Equipment Installation and ME disciplines) to develop system requirements, test scripts, documentation and training material for the Boeing Wiring System (BWS) tool suite. Team members frequently coordinate with Airplane Program Design Engineering/Manufacturing Engineering SME’s and IT to define, design and test the new tool suite.
Provides guidance to others through structured mentoring.

The successful candidate will have the following experience, skills and capabilities:
Minimum 6 years of experience working as a manufacturing planner
6 or more years experience using basic Microsoft Office and office computing systems.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Typical Education & Experience: AA degree in related discipline and typically 6 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Electrical manufacturing planning experience
WIRS - Wires Information Release System
PDM (Product Data Manager)
WQCS - Wires Query/Compare Systems
Understanding of wiring and wire routing
Experience with wire bundle fabrication concepts, wire installation, electrical equipment installation and installation of wiring provisions is desirable.
Experience developing requirements for new and improved process and tool solutions for the Manufacturing Engineering process area.
