Sauder's Eggs 3rd Shift Diesel Mechanic in Ephrata, Pennsylvania
The Diesel Mechanic performs maintenance/repairs on heavy duty trucks, tractors, trailers and related equipment as assigned by management following all established standards and procedures. He or she must be skilled with air/hydraulic brakes, engines, drive lines, rear axels, gear boxes and accessories.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, two years of relevant experience, Class 7 State inspection, a professional set of tools, and a strong technical performance record. He or she must be able to work independently as well as part of a team and must have a positive attitude and great communication skills. Class A CDL and those who can pass the Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination is a requirement.
