Position Description

This Position will encompass our entire Midwestern region (OH, IN, KY, MD, VA, NC, and SC). Selected candidate can live anywhere withing the region.

This position is responsible for achieving sales goals through the acquisition and development of new customers with a focus on hospitals and hospital systems/regional IDN’s in assigned geographic territory within the large quantity (LQ) space.

  • Call on hospitals and regional hospital systems to sell secure document destruction to new and existing customers by demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of our services.

  • Cross-sell with Regional Major Account Executives into existing hospitals.

  • Negotiate and secure new contracts, while meeting or exceeding established annual revenue goals.

  • Participate in market development activities by identifying areas/markets within territory that are underdeveloped, and implementing initiatives to increase market penetration and increase sales through new sales initiatives.

  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline and strategy for the assigned territory.

  • Participate in all sales and other training provided to Sales Team Members.

  • Perform all other duties and assignments as required.

Position Requirements

•Education equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree in Sales/Marketing, or the equivalent in related work experience. •Five or more years of experience in direct hospital sales, or the equivalent in related work experience, demonstrating proven solution-selling experience and complex sales process skills, along with documented results of overachieving quotas. May require mandatory immunizations and credentialing based on customer requirements
