At Quest Diagnostics Incorporated, we understand urgency. But more than speed, we focus our energies on accuracy. Currently, we seek a Technical Admin Support II for our Human Resource Service Center. This position supports Project Enterprise onboarding.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
Service Center hours are Monday - Friday, 8am-8pm

Provide technical administrative support, reporting, and auditing and quality control activities in the HR Service Center, as directed by the HR Service Center Manager. Can perform all duties and responsibilities of an Administrative Support Specialist II, as well as those listed below:
Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Documents processes and information to expand the HRSC knowledgebase 2. Provides input and guidance to staff to ensure continuous improvement 3. Effectively communicates to peers, supervisors and employees to enable consistent and timely flow of information 4. Serves as primary contact for ongoing reporting support for HRSC and end users 5. Logs, tracks, resolves and reports system support issues to management 6. Creates system design proposals 7. Develops and designs more complex reporting based on business need; responsible for metrics requirements reporting and analysis 8. Respond to client requests by providing standardized and ad hoc reporting from various systems and databases 9. Respond to audit requests by providing reporting and data as requested, and participate in internal audit activities within the HRSC
AS/AA degree required
BA/BS degree preferred Work Experience:
Minimum 3 years of administrative support and/or reporting experience in human resources or call center environment
Advance proficiency in MS Excel
Advance proficiency in MS Access
Proficiency in other MS Office products (Word, Powerpoint)
Database development experience a plus
Proficiency with HRIS systems (PeopleSoft, Applicant Tracking, Business Objects) and with HR Reporting
Excellent organizational skills, detail orientation and demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail, problem solving, organization and prioritization skills
Ability to follow specific, detailed instructions, resolve routine problems and perform basic interpretation utilizing published information and tools
Ability to prioritize, problem solve and apply critical thinking skills
Ability to effectively interact with a diverse population at all levels within the organization
Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
Ability to type a minimum of 45 words per minute while interacting with customers on the phone
Ability to read, write and speak the English language, communicating clearly and effectively with callers
Bilingual (English/Spanish) speaking and writing skills a plus
Written and Verbal Communication
