Job Details:Medical Assistant, CMA, EMT, LPN, or phlebotomy cert req.* This position is located at the Downtown CDC. Open Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 11:30am-7:30pm; Wednesday & Saturday 7am-3pm. Closed every Friday & Sunday -can work at other locations. *The Collection Supervisor is responsible for daily on-site management of an assigned Mobile Unit or Community Donor Center (CDC) collection activities. Functions in a leadership role coordinating, operating and evaluating blood drives and CDC's with Regional Manager. Provides back up support for screening and phlebotomy procedures as needed. Assists, coaches and monitors staff for compliance. Supports the philosophy, goals and objectives of the organizations. Acts as a role model for staff by adhering to all policies.Responsible for monitoring technical compliance of all staff to ensure compliance. Provides quality customer service to customers by demonstrating cooperative behavior when working with peers and staff as demonstrated by readiness to assist others and through the support of organizational policies.Requirements: -Education required such as: Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Nurse, LPN or EMT -5 years of relevant work experience is required -1 year of supervisory experience required -2 years of experience in blood collections is preferredSkills: Displayed proficiency to plan, organize, direct and control all aspects of operations in order to meet the company's objectives. Candidate must have demonstrated effective problem solving skills.
