This position is located in Southwest Oklahoma and historic Fort Sill. Lawton/Fort Sill is surrounded by a national treasure, the Wichita Wildlife Refuge. There are thousands of acres for hiking and open ranges for buffalo, elk, longhorn and other wildlife. Lawton/Fort Sill is just 50 minutes from Oklahoma City and about three hours from Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. Lawton provides excellent dinning and shopping opportunities with a small town atmosphere.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: Implementing the International Military Student Education Program (ISEP) in accordance with the approved Program of Instruction (POI); initiating projects and actions for the betterment of the program learning environment; and determining actions with respect to teaching, methodology, and selection of course materials, and acts as liaison with outside organizations.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency (knowledge, skills, abilities) in the following areas:
- Knowledge of the specialized subject matter directly related to assigned course(s) of instruction.
- Knowledge of conventional and established training methods, techniques and tools in order to assist with the design, development and evaluation of training programs.
- Ability to plan and organize work independently.
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the GS-07 grade (or equivalent).
Time in Grade Restriction: Must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade (GS-07 or equivalent).

A Masters or equivalent graduate degree or two (2) full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, or completion of all requirements for an LL.B or J.D. degree from an accredited college or university(Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)
