As the Head of the U.S. Global Liquidity Client Services team, you will be part of a global team of seasoned professionals tasked with providing top-tier client service and operational support to clients invested in liquidity funds and separate accounts. The team comprises five functions: Fund Shareholder Services, Fund Operations, Fund Onboarding and Client Management, Fund Reporting, and Separate Account Client Account Management. These teams coordinate closely with the Sales teams, counterparts in Europe and Asia, and business partners in the U.S. retail funds business, Compliance, and others.
Reporting to the Head of Global Liquidity Client Services based in London, you will assume hands-on leadership of the U.S. team and contribute to high priority global initiatives in partnership with business leadership. Key responsibilities include:
Oversee the day-to-day functions of the Global Liquidity Client Services team
Manage and cultivate employees, including supporting the development of professional skills and guiding employees toward individual goals
Establish team goals and set team culture and values within a global Client Services context
Proactively solicit feedback from employees, peers, and senior management
Maintain a strong control environment and ensure a globally consistent client experience
Communication and Relationships
Build relationships with internal and external clients and stakeholders
Work with business stakeholders to define and drive strategy and execution
Escalate critical issues with a focus on resolution
Work with the transfer agent to expediently resolve issues
10+ years of relevant experience
Deep understanding of the Global Liquidity industry and regulatory environment
Strong operational and product knowledge, including 2a-7 mutual funds, 3c-7 private placement, off-shore funds, and separately managed portfolios
Significant experience in managing in a high-risk environment, including the ability to identify and mitigate business and operational risk and implement appropriate and consistent processes, procedures, and controls across regions and client channels
Significant experience managing and working with geographically distributed and functionally diverse work groups
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Very strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage in effective dialogue with senior management
Proven collaboration, influencing, and negotiation skills
Series 7 (required) and 24 license (preferred; required to obtain within three months of hire date)
